In "SCARLET" I explored the advanced use of generated textures

and how to implement them in my workflow.

 

 

Without the need for additional keyframes, the generated texture governs parameters such as the surface tension, stiffness, flexibility etc. of the 3d cloth simulation, thus determining the movement in the three-dimensional space.

 
 

 

PROJECT PROCESS

The AI generated texture (first) controls the simulation by driving the surface tension parameters as well as the surface shaders (last) of the 3D object.
The yellow/red vertex maps visualize the tension data per vertex on the 3d plane.
